Gamin van't Naastveldhof, or just "Gamin" is currently Edouard's top performing horse. It has led him to a number of victories in team competitions and is currently his number one choice for clutch performance. Edouard still expects a number of successful years ahead.
Horses
The symbiosis, the interaction between rider and horse is one of the unique features of this sport. Without top horses, even the best rider cannot win anything. I consider myself lucky to be able to work with outstanding horses on a daily basis. It is what I appreciate most about this sport.

With Quno, Edouard won, among other things, the 2022 GCL Super Cup in Prague and jumped onto the podium at the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers in Bordeaux and Amsterdam. The 14-year-old gelding is one of Edouard's most reliable and successful horses. He belongs to Edouard's family.

Karel Doorman
Karel Doorman has been with Edouard since May 2022. He has accompanied Edouard as a Youngster alongside his other top-performing horses to venues such as Aachen or Dublin. It should only be a matter of time before he enters the big stages as he shows great promise.

Edouard has only been riding the 6-year-old stallion since July 2023. Before that, the horse was ridden by the Argentine rider Matias Alvaro.
