With less than three weeks until the Paris Olympics, Édouard Schmitz chose the CSI 4* at Chantilly to fine-tune the preparation of his loyal 12-year-old gelding, Gamin van’t Naastveldhof, for the events starting in early August at Versailles. The duo proved that the they are perfectly ready by winning the major event on Thursday without pressure!

Edouard Schmitz triumphed among eighty competitors thanks to an impeccable clear round on the initial course, followed by a fast yet controlled jump-off. The course was designed by Grégory Bodo, who will also be responsible for the show jumping courses at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
