Four valuable weeks in Spain
Edouard recently returned from 4 weeks of competition in Vejer de la Frontera, located in southern Spain. During this time, he brought all seven of his horses to Spain to take advantage of the better weather and the fantastic infrastructures of the Sunshine Tour.

The four weeks provided the horses with valuable experiences on different grass and sand footings and various arena sizes (19 different arenas!). This is particularly beneficial for the younger ones. The larger arenas also allowed the horses to build strength and stamina. Work hard, play hard! Thanks to two private grass paddocks, the horses could relax and enjoy the sun.
During the competition, Maestro competed in the 7-year-old category, placing in most classes, while Lux demonstrated numerous promising rounds in the 8-year-old category. Karel Doorman, Be Hippy TT, and Abdul-Jabbar du Gibet performed very well and received excellent placings. Gamin and Quno, his more experienced championship horses, started the year with smaller rounds to rehearse clear rounds, preparing for more critical milestones later in the year.
The horses produced over 30 clear rounds. Here are the highlights of the two best results per horse:
