Swiss show jumper Edouard Schmitz becomes a member of the Longines family
With his victory in the Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland this year as his greatest success to date, 23-year-old Edouard Schmitz can already look back on a glittering career in show jumping and has also made international headlines with his numerous sporting successes.

With the determination and ambition to keep setting new standards in his discipline, Edouard Schmitz represents a new generation of successful young riders on their way to the top of show jumping. His greatest success to date is certainly his victory in the Longines International Grand Prix of Ireland this year. A member of the Swiss show jumping elite for the past four years, he made it into the world's top 40 for the first time last October. In 2022, he also impressed with his victory in the Miami Celtics team at the 2022 Global Champions League Super Cup Final. As part of Team Switzerland, he secured victory in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup in St. Gallen and also stood on the podium at the Longines FEI Jumping National Cups in Dublin, Sopot and Barcelona.
